How much will it cost to become registered?
Registration costs are being kept to a minimum and will cover administration of the registration process.
The annual cost of registration with CBH is:
Independent OH Practitioner, this includes Appointed Doctors / Physicians / Nurses: £275.00 (excl. VAT)
(For example: if you are an independent OHSP operating on your own)
OH Employer/ organisation: £1250.00 (excl. VAT)
(For example: if you are a Company or an OHSP operating with or employing more than one individual)
OHSPs registering more than one clinic or centre will also be charged an additional annual fee for further clinics/ centres registered, on the following basis:

Are there any ongoing costs and if so what are they?
There will be a nominal transaction charge made by CBH for the submission of fitness for task (FFT) data and health surveillance outcomes and relevant
Commercial agreements between yourself and the construction employer requesting the OH service remain confidential between the two parties involved.
There will be no additional charges for requests for clinical records to enable you to compare past data and provide a more effective service to your client, as this is included with the transaction charge.
How long does the registration process take?
The registration process will include a completion of an application form by the OHA / employer which will be subject to a review by CBH; this may take the form of a desk-top and/or physical audit. It is envisaged that the process should take on average 10 working days. This may however be extended if a physical audit is required.
Will there be a logo/certificate or other means of demonstrating an OHSP’s registration?
There will be a certificate demonstrating registration and a registration mark available to registered OHSP providers. CBH registered OHSP’s will also be able to use the CBH registration mark on any of their own corporate literature / printed material. A full list of CBH registered providers will be published on the CBH website and there will be a full search facility available to construction employers.
How long does registration last?
Once registered with CBH, OHSP’s will remain on the list, unless there is evidence that they are no longer able to meet the standard required. There will be an annual registration charge and review process to ensure that significant changes have not been made which may affect the competency of the service delivery.
How will CBH monitor the quality of service registered OHSP’s provide?
CBH will investigate relevant complaints and whether they have a potential effect on OHSP’s ability to meet the industry standards. Surveys may also be undertaken from time to time to ensure that construction industry employers are happy with the service they are receiving.
If OHSP’s who apply fail to become registered, will they be told why?
OHSP’s applying for CBH registration will be kept fully
Can they re-apply?
Where there are areas which need addressing the CBH team will work with OHSP’s to ensure applications are successfully processed.
