There are 3 routes to accessing CBH benefits;
• Corporate
• Individual
• Self Employed



As a Corporate member of CBH you will pay an annual rate dependent on turnover which will give you access to the full range of CBH benefits, these will be accessed via a secure ‘corporate member only’ area on the CBH website (see list of benefits below).

As an Individual member you will only pay for the CBH card which allows you/your workforce to demonstrate on site that they have undertaken relevant health surveillance/fitness for task checks for safety critical workers. The rate for the card will be based on the full economic cost of the card, plus the cost of the relevant health check by an accredited OH service provider.

How do I become a corporate member?

Will there be a logo/certificate I can use to demonstrate corporate status?
Once you join you will be entitled to use a CBH corporate logo on your stationery/website. You will also receive a CBH corporate member certificate and a unique reference giving you access to secure web pages.


What type of queries can CBH answer?
General advice but not specific advice on individuals regarding health issue in question


How do I find an OHSP registered with CBH?
You will be able to find a list of OHSPs in your area by going to OHSP - registered providers.


What if I have a specific query to do with occupational health that I need help with?
Remember we cannot give specific health advice on an individual however we can help with general advice. Please email us on

How will CBH monitor the quality of service registered OHSP’s provide?
CBH will initially carry out a desktop audit of the OHSP. We will look at their qualifications, competency and experience.

A sample of all OHSPs will be subject to an audit comprising visits to premises, review of paperwork etc. CBH will investigate relevant complaints and whether they have a potential effect on OHSP’s ability to meet the industry standards.

Surveys may also be undertaken from time to time to ensure that construction industry employers are happy with the service they are receiving.
